As fall sports wrap up their regular seasons, Tacoma Public Schools student-athletes are heading into postseason play across multiple sports. TPS encourages families, fans, and community members to come out and support our student-athletes. Congratulations to all of our postseason qualifiers!

Foss High School

Cross Country – District Championship Qualifier

• Mykah Sawyer will compete in the 2A District Championship Meet

Girls Swim & Dive – State-Level Wild Card Qualifier

• Lara Hahn earned a wild card berth to the 2A District/State Qualifier Meet in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke

Boys Golf – State Qualifier (Spring)

• Anthony Rodriguez has already secured a state berth for the spring golf season.

Lincoln High School

Football – League Playoffs
Lincoln faces Timberline in the #3 vs #4 game at the Lincoln Bowl. The matchup will help determine seeding for Week 10 of the state tournament.

Girls Swim & Dive – West Central District Qualifiers
Lincoln is sending a large group of district qualifiers:

Individual Qualifiers:

• Gia Chinn – 50 Free, 100 Back
• Alicia Rivera – 50 Free, 100 Free
• Suri Lopez-Pacheco – 100 Free (WC), 500 Free (WC)
• Natalie Brown – 100 Butterfly (WC)
• Stella Hayes – 100 Breaststroke

Relay Qualifiers:

• 200 Medley Relay – Chinn, Rivera, Angelique Higdon, Brown
• 200 Free Relay – Rivera, Lopez-Pacheco, Cami Klein, Chinn

Boys Cross Country – District Championship Qualifier

• Brayden Martinez qualified for the Westside Classic District Meet for the second consecutive year, running a personal best of 17:44 at League Championships.

Mount Tahoma High School

Football – Week 10 District Playoffs
The Thunderbirds enter the postseason undefeated (8–0) and will host the league championship game against undefeated Lakes High School (8–0). Mount Tahoma is currently ranked #1 in the state (3A) by WIAA.

Girls Tennis – West Central District Qualifiers
Congratulations to the following athletes advancing to the West Central District Championships:

Cross Country – District Championship Qualifiers
The Silas girls team has advanced to the Westside Classic District Championships.
Qualifiers include:

• Boys: Orion Honn, Adrian Wolk, Ridley Wood
• Girls: Entire Girls Varsity Team

Girls Soccer – District Playoffs
Silas enters the West Central District Girls Soccer Playoffs as the #4 seed.

Girls Swim & Dive – District Qualifiers
Silas will send 14 athletes to the West Central District Meet after a strong League Championships performance featuring multiple relay and individual qualifiers.

Boys Tennis – West Central District Qualifiers

Stadium will compete in the Week 9 District Playoff to determine state tournament seeding.
