Silas This Week in Athletics, May 11, 2026

Baseball

In their last regular season game of the year, the Rams traveled to River Ridge to take on the Hawks. Silas came out with the 13-8 win.

The Rams finished in 2nd place in the Narrows Division of the PSL with a 12-4 record.

They start the District tournament this week, with the first game on Tuesday vs. Auburn Mountainview played at Lincoln High School. If they win, they will also play on Wednesday and Saturday.

Golf (boys & girls)
Silas Golf battled in the League tournament last week.

The boys team unfortunately fell a few strokes short of advancing as team to Districts. However, Dillon Ngo, Domenic Harmon, and Jake Kennedy each earned individual qualifying spots. Jordan Alwert and Lewis Wenz are alternates.

On the girls side, the Rams finished second overall and earned a team spot at Districts. Emery Faker also secured an individual qualifying spot.

Soccer (boys)
Following their League championship, the Rams start their District campaign this week.

Their first game is Tuesday vs. Kent Meridian at Mount Tahoma High School. They will also play on Thursday and Saturday.

🥎Softball
On Monday, the Rams hosted Central Kitsap. Unfortunately, they lost 18-0.  On Wednesday, they traveled to Mount Tahoma and also lost, 26-25.

Silas finished the regular season tied with Mount Tahoma for the 4th seed in the Narrows Division. On Saturday, they played a tie-breaker game at Lincoln and won 9-6, clinching the 4th seed.

Today, the Rams will play the 4v4 league crossover game against River Ridge to try to earn a spot at the District tournament, which would begin on Friday.

🎾Tennis (girls)

On Friday and Saturday, the Rams traveled across town to Lincoln to play in the League tournament.

The doubles team of Claire Mock and Kate Shouse took 1st place, and Jennifer To and Gracie Cook took 7th place. Both teams will advance to the District tournament!

🏃‍♂️Track & Field (boys & girls)

On Thursday, Silas Track & Field competed in the All City meet at Mount Tahoma. Unfortunately, no results are available.

This week, qualifying athletes will travel to South Sound Stadium on Wednesday and Friday for the League Championships.

🤽Water Polo (girls)
On Wednesday, Silas water polo hosted the Stadium Tigers and lost 15-1. Kat Owen had 16 saves, and Gracie Van Hook scored the lone Rams goal.

On Friday, they traveled to Peninsula and defeated the Seahawks 14-2. Gracie Van Hook scored both goals for the Rams, and Kat Owen had 11 saves.

Silas also hosted a JV tournament this weekend and took second place! Top scorers of the weekend were Juliana Menge, Harmony Hildebrandt, Natalie Mosley, Jayla Kadow, and Olivia Hoskins.
